Breakfast Routine

If a person has had the same breakfast routine for 7 years they’re going to get bored of eating the same old food.

No–I haven’t ever been a fan of any kind of boxed cereal. Honey Nut Cheerios is not made with mostly real honey. It’s made with a chemical called natural flavor that mimics the taste of honey.

As well the majority of boxed cereals have natural flavor that is chemicals.

The culprit is that even for those of us who have eggs for breakfast all the time we can suddenly say: “Enough! No more eggs!”

To combat this palate fatigue I came up with a solution. A health coach I ran this idea by vetted the new approach.

Mixing in Woodstock organic peanut butter in Fage 0 fat plain yogurt. For added protein without the sugar.

Most commercial yogurt has too much sugar and natural flavor chemicals.

The health coach also OK’d having a caprese salad every so often for breakfast which I told her that I thought of doing this. I recommend paying for real buffalo mozzarella and organic heirloom tomatoes.

You could also make the recipe I posted here for tofu eggs. This can be had for breakfast too: https://fullandrobustlife.com/2024/01/25/tofu-eggs/

The tongue gets used to sugar. The more sugar you eat the more you crave it is what likely happens.

One last breakfast recipe is to cut the top off a tomato. Core the inside. Add an egg inside and a little grated parmesan on top. Heat in oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minuttes.

Or use a muffin pan to crack eggs into the cups. Cut up peppers and broccoli and onion to toss in cups. Heat at 350 degrees in oven for about 10 to 12 minutes.

The heating times are estimates as I haven’t used these two recipes in awhile.

Voila: Happy Breakfasts!
