I’ve been practicing the employment talk I’m going to give at the 2016 NAMI-New York State Educational Conference.

Going to the conference is always inspirational. Last year I sold copies of my memoir Left of the Dial at the conference Yes–I like to chat with people and get to know them.

This year I’m excited to meet and talk with peers. It’s really all about making the connection regardless of whether or not you sell a product.

I will have a couple of copies of the memoir on hand to sell if someone asks about it though.

On Monday I’ll report back on how the employment talk went and about the rest of the conference.
